Apple iPhone 14 Pro Models Tipped to Feature Far Better Specifications Than the Regular Models

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 14 series later this year. If things stay on track, we can expect four new iPhone models in September 2022. At the Apple event, the company is expected to launch the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max as its top-tier flagship smartphones. Alongside, there will be the regular iPhone 14 that will sit below the iPhone 14 Max. Apple is said to discontinue the mini lineup this year.

Ahead of the launch, some key details of the upcoming iPhones have leaked online. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed the display and performance unit details of the new iPhones launching later this year. Let’s take a look at the Apple iPhone 14 series specifications and features leaked ahead of the launch.

Apple iPhone 14 Series Specifications

Apple is rumoured to launch four new iPhone 14 series models later this year. Two of the four models will get the Apple A15 Bionic chip. According to analyst Kuo, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will get the same chipset found on the iPhone 13 series. The two 2022 iPhones will feature Apple’s A15 chip, which is currently the most powerful processor on any smartphone.

The Pro models, on the other hand, will get an upgraded Apple A16 Bionic chipset. Details about the processor remain unknown but we can expect it to come with certain performance and efficiency-related upgrades.

The analyst further notes that the regular models will get 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, whereas the Pro models will come with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

Kuo reiterated the display size of the four models. The vanilla iPhone 14 and 14 Pro will come with a 6.1-inch display, whereas the 14 Max and 14 Pro Max will get a larger 6.7-inch display. Apple is rumoured to ditch the notch in favour of a hole punch and a pill-shaped cutout on the Pro models. The regular iPhone models will get the notch treatment.

In addition to this, it is being said that the Pro models will get a 48MP main camera sensor, which will be a major upgrade over the current 12MP sensor found on the iPhone 13 series. Other details of the devices remain unknown. We will share more details as and when available. What are your thoughts on the iPhone 14 series? Do let us know in the comments below.
