Redmi Note 12 China Launch Tipped to Take Place in Q2 of 2022
Xiaomi‘s Redmi launched the Redmi Note 11 series back in October in the Chinese market. It’s hardly been 4 months since the Redmi Note 11 series was launched in China and the company already seems to be working on the next iteration of the Note series.
A new tip by Digital Chat Station suggests that the Note 12 series is under development, and carries codename L16. The tipster further reveals that this will be Redmi’s main product lineup after the launch of the Redmi K50 series. As per the tipster, the series also contains a handset with codename L16U which could be a high-end variant like the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G.

The latest claims made by the famous leakster are in line with earlier findings of Xiaomiui. Xiaomiui claims that L16 series devices will launch in April in China. However, as of now, there is nothing known about the upcoming Note 12 series devices in terms of specifications.
Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ (Chinese variant) Specifications and Features
The Note 11 Pro series devices flaunt a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200nits peak brightness. The Note 11 Pro series devices are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor paired with a Mali G68 GPU, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS2.2 storage.
The Note 11 Pro series devices offer a triple-rear camera setup including 108MP primary sensor. Accompanying the high-resolution sensor on an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor on both devices. For selfies and video calls, these devices rely on a 16MP front shooter.
The Note 11 Pro is equipped with a 5160mAh battery unit and supports 67W fast charging. Whereas, the Note 11 Pro+ has a 4500mAh battery unit but it has 120W fast charging. Both devices have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack.
