Samsung Galaxy F23 5G has been launched in India today after being spotted on certification sites over the past few weeks. The phone was launched via an online event today at noon. The latest F series phone from Samsung comes with a Snapdragon 5G SoC, 120Hz screen, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The Galaxy F23 5G is available in two configurations 一 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB. The 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 17,499 and the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 18,499. The phone is available in two colour options 一 Aqua Green and Forest Green colour options. It will go on sale starting March 16 on Flipkart.

Samsung is also offering some bank offers and introductory offers on the phone, which will bring the price of the 6GB version to Rs 14,999 and the 8GB variant to Rs 15,999.

In terms of visuals, the Galaxy F23 5G comes with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G, which is an octa-core processor built on top of an 8nm fabrication process with two Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores paced at 1.8GHz. In terms of optics, the Galaxy F23 5G offers a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP 123-degree ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. Selfies and video calls are handled by an 8MP camera on the front. The phone also comes with a voice focus feature, which is said to pick up clean voice from recordings.

The phone draws power from the 5,000mAh battery on the inside, which is backed by a 25W fast charging. However, Samsung is ditching in box charger for this device, which means you will have to purchase the charger separately. Other features of the device include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, a single-take feature on the camera, power cool technology, AltZ feature, and the phone runs on Android 12 out of the box and the company has promised 2 years of software
